Upgrading Alauda Build of Argo CD

PrerequisitesProcedureUpgrade Alauda Build of Argo CD Operator

Prerequisites

  1. Download the new version of Alauda Build of Argo CD Operator installation package corresponding to your platform architecture.
  2. Upload the installation package using the Upload Packages mechanism.

Procedure

Notice

If upgrading from a version earlier than v4.2.0, Argo CD will be upgraded from v2.x to v3.x, which includes breaking changes. Review the Argo CD 3.0 upgrade notes before proceeding.

Upgrade Alauda Build of Argo CD Operator

  1. Login, go to the Platform Management page.
  2. Click Marketplace > Upload Packages > Operator to enter the Operator page.
  3. Select global in Clusters selection box, find argocd-operator in the list, click it to enter the argocd-operator page.
  4. Click Cross-Cluster Sync button, in the pop-up dialog, select the Sync Version with the uploaded version, and the Target Cluster where you installed the Operator, click Confirm.
  5. After the sync is successful, click Marketplace > OperatorHub to enter the OperatorHub page.
  6. Find the Argo CD Operator, click it to enter the Argo CD operator page, waiting for the operator be auto upgraded.
